Locate the failing step

Decide whether the problem happens during download, installation, launch, sign-in or a particular action. These stages involve different information. Write down the exact message rather than summarizing every problem as “not working.” Keep private account details out of the note.

For a download that does not finish

Check the browser’s status, available storage and connection. Compare the completed file with publisher-provided information when available. Do not substitute a file from an unknown mirror because it appears faster. A new destination needs its own source review.

For an installation error

Read whether the device identifies an unsupported package, incomplete file, policy restriction or another condition. Compare the documented requirements with the device. Avoid disabling protections indiscriminately. Work or school devices may deliberately restrict installation, and those controls should be respected.

For launch and connection problems

Record whether other services work on the same connection and whether the issue is repeatable at the same step. A working browser does not prove a particular app service is available. Do not uninstall immediately; local settings or recovery context may be useful. Seek documentation from the identified publisher.

Change one thing, then observe

Multiple simultaneous changes make it difficult to know what mattered. Keep a small sequence of observations and consult verified support when necessary. Never give a stranger remote access, an OTP or banking credentials as a troubleshooting shortcut. The directory cannot diagnose a service it has not verified, but precise non-sensitive reports can improve its guidance.
